PeopleWerks 3.1 Released

Print
Columbus, Ohio, September 19, 2007 -- DataWerks Limited releases PeopleWerks 3.1, our first publicly available version of our flagship product that focuses on personnel management in K-12 education. This version is a result of over three years of development and six months of beta testing within a real school district.  "The goal of PeopleWerks is to establish a foundation whereby all of the information about an adult in a school district or building, can be managed in one central location," says Todd Stark, CEO/CIO of DataWerks Limited.

Description

PeopleWerks 3.1 allows districts to centralize the personnel data for all employees, contractors and volunteers while sharing the data amongst departments, buildings and staff members.  This real-time data sharing allows administrative staff members to stay informed and maintain accurate records as changes to employee records are made within the system.  With a custom report management module and letter / contract writer integrated within the system, staff members can easily get the information they want out of the system in a meaningful way.  With the built-in e-mail notification system, employees who need to know when changes take place can stay informed throughout the personnel management process.

Features

  • Personnel Mangement - Centralize all contact, demographic, job, salary, license, education emergency contact, and emergency health information in one place.
  • Position Management - Manage the positions the way your district desires.  Set default pays, job IDs, number of positions, work schedules, and position work times within the system.
  • Salary Management - Manage all aspects of salary administration.  Set salary schedules, salary bases, provide yearly increases, increase steps, record salary history, make future projections.
  • Employee Self Service - Allow employees to manage their own data such as addresses, phone numbers, and emergency contacts.  Employees can create their own staff directories, work phone lists, address labels, and birthday lists.
  • Volunteer Management - Manage and track the unpaid support staff.  Centralize a clearing-house of volunteers.  Establish work assignments and log hours assigned.  Generate service reports for volunteer recognition.
  • Asset Management - Manage the assets your district assigns to employees, volunteers, or special assignments.  Specifically, manage keys, ID badges, work extensions, cell phones and pagers, and credit cards.
  • Extras - Users can create, save, and manage their own reports, letters, and worksheets within the system.
  • Security - PeopleWerks has its own system security module built in that allows system administrators to limit access to specific data, system modules and system actions.
