The Ohio Association of School Personnel Administrators & Ohio Association for Employment in Education held their Spring Leadership Conference at the Embassy Suites Conference Center, in Dublin, Ohio March 2, 2007.  Todd Stark, CEO/CIO of DataWerks Limited was invited to do a presentation during their afternoon breakout session.

The presentation, titled Mission: Data Organization -- Managing Personnel Data in Education, focused on how districts can work on developing a comprehensive data management plan in order to improve data integrity while reducing the effort it takes to manage the data.  The presentation was broken down into four sections:

1. Understanding the problems in data management;
2. Developing a data management plan in response to the problem;
3. Changing internal processes and systems to meet the plan;
4. What to know when purchasing a new data system.
